What you are asking to do is a very tough scene. Using animations over a
video sequence is simple enough, i.e. you can use the video sequence as a
backdrop and lay your animation right over the top of the video. But
creating a LW generated scene and having real characters walk through it
is another story. Even the B5 scenes which use humans walking or
interacting in a completely LW generated scene usually use Humanoid
objects (I think that is what they are). If you are not going to be
using any Chroma Keying, then I think it would be real tough. I would be
interested in hearing how others might do something like this. You could
on the other hand have somebody walking across a desert as an example,
and then place a LW generated object (say a Huge Missle) in the scene,
and when the character walks where the missle is at, he/she will
dissapear behind that missle because the video is being used as a
background, so any objects you place would appear in front of the video.
I don't know if this is what you were thinking of doing though. Changing
say the ground that a person is walking on to a LW gerneated ground would
be tough!
